Amber brings over 7 years of expertise into her fire dancing creating a dazzling display for her audiences. The grace and beauty she exhibits as she seemingly effortlessly flows from one move into another belies the complexity and the skill needed to master such movement. She precisely executes even the most complex tricks with a playful ease, enticing her audience to play with her. As she dances she embodies the fire into her rhythm so it's just an extension of her movement creating a beautiful effect of liquid fire flowing with her. Amber has been delighted to perform for a varied audience, ranging from intimate gatherings to the largest audience where there were over 20,000 in attendance! Her love of spinning is conveyed to her audience through her passion and her obvious enjoyment of what she is doing. No matter where you catch Amber, in the classroom or at your next event, you will be sure to be mesmerized by her graceful yet playful mastery of this ancient art form.

"Mmmmm...fire, it feeds my soul. It entranced me as a little girl and I am still under it's spell. As I dance with it twrilling around my body, creating endless patterns of circles, it weaves a magical energy of light and sound which nourishes my mind, body and spirit. Within this realm of fire energy, I am transported to a different state of mind where I am free to let the fire guide me in my dance bringing a truly peaceful state of being. I love being able to share this amazing art form through performances and teaching. When performing I am able to feel the excitement and intensity of those around me and their energy feeds the fire energy, creating a powerful new element for me to play, dance with and give back, so that each performance is spontaneously & uniquely created for those around me.



Together...with friends

Amber and friends have been performing together for over 5 years, as it's evident in their chemistry and the ease in which they perform together. They have taken their individual strengths and combined them in a dance that flows freely.. knowing one another well enough to anticipate the other's next move and have moved into pure improvisation and play. Mastering some of the most difficult and complicated moves together, their timing and the flow of their interplay is absolutely captivating. 

As instructors their skill and teaching styles mirror one another, creating an environment where all can learn and where a range of skill and expertise is represented. They have attended and orchestrated workshops from top poi spinners around the world and bring that knowledge into their performance and lessons. Their instruction is clear and easy to follow for those that are just beginning their dance with poi. Their passion for fire has been fueled over the years as they strive to grow as performers and as instructors.
