The art of spinning poi...circles, circles and more circles. the ability to weave intricate patterns of circles around you is at the heart of poi. Almost all poi movements can be broken down into their basic components of circles. The ability to spin these circles in their proper planes and timing with ease and control is what sets apart your truly skilled poi spinner from the rest. With some influence from our admired friend and fellow poi instructor Nick Woolsey, we've named these components which make up the most complex poi moves the "Scales of Poi." Mastering the components of complex poi moves allows the spinner to build a solid foundation of movement to build upon creating more and more complex patterns as they progress.

Mastering and continuing to practice the "Scales of Poi" throughout your spinning career will take your spinning to a whole new level. Rather than focusing on which move your doing, if you're doing it right and which one you'll do next, having these scales down will free your mind and body allowing you to flow from move to move effortlessly allowing you to concentrate on your individual style.

We offer classes ranging from beginning to advanced levels. Our classes are systematically created to build your fundamental skills, develop your personal style, and most importantly, have fun!

In the beginning classes, the focus is on the fundamentals and poi theory. Intermediate and advanced classes will get a hands-on introduction to fire spinning and fire safety.

We offer special fire (only) spinning workshops, for people who already know how to spin poi, but want to learn techniques associated with fire. Here, we go in-depth into fire safety and tips & tricks when spinning with fire.


Eeach session consists of 5 classes, one each week.
For the whole session, lessons will cost $100. Individual classes are $25 each.

The special fire workshops are held only a few times a year. They are 4 sessions, one each week for $100.00 and must be pre-paid.

We also offer private training for those who are unable to attend the workshops becuase of schedule conflicts. Private training rates are as follows:

1 person - $45/hr.
2 people - $35/hr. (each)
3 people - $30/hr. (each)
4 people - $25/hr. (each)

Our classes & workshops are held in Hollywood. They are very personal and numbers are kept low so all get personal attention.
